I like this picture a lot. I think that your choice of color is fabulous overall and there is certainly a lot of atmosphere throughout the picture.

By way of critique, there are two things I would like to discuss.

The first is what appears to be a band of broken rocks going around the planet in the upper left. Is this a band extending around the planet and if it is, there is very little perspective between closer and distant rocks which, for the sake of perspective, should be tiny by the time they disappear around the far side of the planet?

The second is about the overall composition.... it seems to me like there are actually two pictures here....the upper half of the picture appears as if the viewer is out in space looking down at a planet, whereas, as we go down the picture to the lower half, it appears the viewer is actually on the ground looking up into space. I find this a little distracting and would love to see each half as two separate pictures.....I think each half would be better on its own and a stunning picture in its own right.

Overall though, well done, a lovely piece of art....a treat for the eyes and imagination!
